Robotic cells handle more than 13,500 patient samples daily

LT Automation’s LabEntry’s advanced robotic cells will play a key role in an integrated automated solution increasing the flow of patient samples at two hospitals in Region South Sweden. The entire project also includes cobots and mobile robots.

The LabEntry robotic cells contains the most advanced and stable technology in the market. The LabEntry robotic cells are modular and due to the scalability, they can be installed and implemented in any hospital and laboratory in the world. This provides any hospital with a high degree of flexibility. 

Additionally further LabEntry robot cells can be gradually added if demand should alter.  

The LabEntry robotic cells are designed so that they can handle various dimensions and live up to specific requirements. At Malmø Hospital the project ensures automated handling of more than 200 boxes corresponding to the sort of +6,000 patient samples daily.

At Lund Hospital, two automated solution ensures automated handling of more than 540 boxes daily – corresponding to the sort of +13,500 patient samples every single day.
